A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 3,900 times in 2013. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 3 trips to carry that many people.
This past Saturday our 6th graders received the sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop Senior at St. Patrick Church. Kathryn had this to say about the experience: “I really liked how the Bishop came to talk to us before the ceremony – it seemed like he really cared about us and how we were doing.” Danny was surprised that the Bishop acted like a “normal person.” “The Bishop did not act special and was happy to be with us.” Mary Grace reflected: “I was very excited but right before the mass I became nervous – until the bishop came down to meet us and told us to not worry about anything.” It was a great day for our parish and for our 6th graders!
