Feeling Warrior Proud
Have you ever had that feeling of being really proud of a child, team, or organization? I felt that way Saturday morning while I was attending the varsity football game. They played their hearts out – played with a lot of enthusiasm, discipline, and pride – and almost came back to win the game. For me, the winning or losing was not really important. What was important was watching the team support one another – with a slap on the back or helmet. It was watching them help each other – and the other team – up from a play. It was their constant show of sportsmanship and love of playing football that really spoke volumes to me. This is a credit to the coaching staff who modeled a positive attitude and approach from the sidelines. In a day and age where sports can be so “I” centered, I loved seeing the TEAM concept! Great job, guys! Go Warriors!
