Student Council Installation

Friday, October 1 was the Student Council Installation here at St. Patrick’s School. Isabelle gave this awesome speech and while I was listening to her I thought that  this is why we all believe in Catholic education – this is the brilliant future of our Church:

“The following is a verse from Romans 12:4, ‘For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are on body in Christ and indvidually parts of one another.’ I chose this verse to read because I feel that being a part of the student council is not just a privilege for all of us, but a blessing. Together, as one body, the student council and I promise to always set a good example. We will work together as a team to make St. Patrick School the best place to be. We will strive daily to live as disciples of Christ in and out of school. Thank you for your support – we are all grateful to be standing up here today.”
